- Christmas was great! I did my best to keep it simple, focused and peaceful. =)
- Did a ton of baking/jam making for Christmas. It was slightly out of control.
- Ang made Jen and I these really sweet photo frame things. Precious. The card that Jen gave me has Michael Scott on the front and he talks when you open it. There are several pictures of me with wide eyes and mouth agape when I heard it the first time. Hilarious.
- I'm super into the Die Hard tetralogy right now. John McClane is my dream man.
- Yesterday I went to get my passport and the guy had to take my picture twice because my hair is in fact so curly that in accounting for room for it in the photo, he took it from too far away. It went something like this: He took my picture and printed it out. Then an older lady walked in and said, "Don't you think her head looks too small?" to which he replied, "No." Then she said, "Well, you took it from pretty far away." This is the kicker, "Well, I was trying to account for hair." (awkward face from me) So we had to retake it and it wasn't as cute and he asked me to pull my hair back so I pretty much tried to smush it down and make it smaller but it didn't help a lot and now my passport photo for the next ten years or whatever probably looks really silly.
- Last night Ang and I went the Mission Inn. Usually they let you walk around but during the holidays they have security EVERYWHERE! Anyways, I checked the usual let's be sneaky and go in despite the clearly defined "guests only beyond this point" policy location, but it was a no go, so I embraced my inner Jack Bauer and found a new way in. It was super covert and we wore black gloves (this was reminiscent of both our TWIRP night adventure (which established that I am the greatest date of all time) and when I worked at Calvin Klein on black Friday and Angela and I had to go the the bank in all black (and we looked like we were there to rob it)). Well pretty much once we were in I turned into a total child; jumping fences and climbing on rooftops and whatnot. Good times all around.
- Looking forward to the new semester.
