Pam, These Are People Who Have Never Given Up On Their Dreams

I'm wondering if all of those people who have such horrible auditions on American Idol have people in their lives who love them. I see them come out of the audition room crying with no golden ticket and then they get hugs from family members or friends or whoever. But where were those family members earlier in the day? Because that is when these horrible singers needed them the most. Someone who cares about them should have let them know ahead of time that they were truly awful so that they didn't get their dreams crushed later in the afternoon on National Television.
